How Your Match Score is Calculated
The platform compares your Skills Profile (from extracted CV or Singpass) against the core & additional skills required required for a role.- Skill Alignment: The score reflects the percentage of mandatory skills you already possess.
- Proficiency Matching: It considers not just the existence of a skill, but whether your proficiency level meets the role’s minimum requirements.
- Gap Analysis: Any missing core skills are flagged as “Skill Gaps,” which are the primary factors used to lower a score from 100%.
Match Score Indicators
In various modules like Career Insights or Talent Attraction, you will see labels that simplify your match status:- 🟢 Strong match: Highly qualified/matched.
- 🟡 Medium match: Likely qualified/matched.
- 🔴 Low match: Unlikely to qualify/matched.
